Select branch deployment

Publisher atomically selects a protected finalized candidate in its source feature-branch catalog and installs a branch-selection hold. Develop, Main and master are excluded. Validates current profile build_requirements, exact native manifests and availability. expected_snapshot must match the current catalog digest; an older candidate generation cannot replace a newer selected generation even after a snapshot retry. Supports metadata-only catalogs and repeated builds at the same commit. Does not approve or copy artifacts. Requires publisher IAM authentication and an Idempotency-Key; replay returns the original receipt.

Authentication: AWS SigV4 (us-west-2, execute-api), using an authorized IAM role. Generated header examples do not compute a valid AWS signature.
